After beginning his part-time MBA (Executive) at the AGSM, senior engineer Raj Agnihotri became so inspired that he decided to accelerate his career and make the switch to the full-time MBA program.

“I came to a point where I realised a good grounding in business was necessary to take my career in the direction I wanted to go.

“I wanted to fast track my business education and I was excited by the thought of gaining the skills, knowledge and experience within a condensed 16-month period, so I transferred to the full-time program.”

AGSM’s Full-Time MBA offers students a dynamic, flexible structure that allows them to tailor their MBA experience through elective study options and international exchange.

The cohort is made up of a blend of talented students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, looking to explore new opportunities and build solid professional and personal networks.

“The program was challenging, exciting and fun and it definitely suited me. It enabled me to very quickly discover what I am passionate about and where my strengths lie,” Raj said.

“It was totally immersive. I have developed an amazing bond with my cohort and forged life-long friends.”

After completing his MBA Raj’s engineering background and his new found knowledge secured him a Senior Consultancy role at an leading advisory firm operating across a range of transport, utilities and mining sectors.

While admitting it was challenging to balance a corporate job and his MBA studies, Raj believes transferring to the full-time program was a worthwhile experience.

“My new role is quite different from my former engineering roles and I have been able to make a significant career change in a short amount of time because of the full-time program.”
