Swinburne University is a progressive institution that prides itself on delivering a more personalised experience for students. In 2014, Swinburne’s Faculty of Business and Enterprise will be re-branded as the Swinburne Business School.

The Melbourne-based institution has earned a reputation for high-impact research that responds to the changing needs of the global community. With partnerships to over 90 other educational facilities, Swinburne pride themselves on being a global player in the delivery of education. They are also consistently among the highest ranked universities in Melbourne for education experience by The Good Universities Guide, including for teaching quality, graduate satisfaction and employability.

The Swinburne MBA offers the opportunity for students to learn in innovative, creative and entrepreneurial ways. Graduates will be skilled managers and competent leaders who are entrepreneurially oriented, globally focused and socially conscious in a diverse and complex world. Specifically, the MBA prepares students to engage and deal with uncertainty, change and opportunity in the environments that organisations operate.

“The solutions to real-world problems are not found in narrow specialisations. They demand partnerships – across business disciplines, across Universities and across industry. Our research centres are inter-disciplinary. They are closely aligned with our scientists, our engineers, our designers and our social scientists. Our teaching and our research strongly connect to industry.” Swinburne University Business School Executive Dean Professor Michael Gilding

Swinburne’s postgraduate business programs are offered in Australia’s only graduate school dedicated to the development of entrepreneurs and global leaders, the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship (AGSE). The AGSE provides an outstanding learning environment, with well-equipped learning spaces, extensive networking opportunities and staff who draw on a wealth of industry experience, delivering sophisticated courses with practical outcomes.
