Certificate III in Business Administration

If you are looking to re-enter the work force or want a career change, this qualification will give you the knowledge and practical skills to work within any office environment. Certificate IV in Business Administration

A Certificate IV is slightly more advanced than Certificate III and provides graduates with a range of additional skills including. This course will develop your administrative skills so you can apply solutions to unpredictable problems, analyse and evaluate information, and provide leadership and guidance to others in the workplace. If you have previous office experience or a Certificate III, this qualification will take you to the next level. The median salary of a Certificate IV graduate is about $47,000 after completing their course.

Diploma of Business Administration

This qualification is most applicable to people with job titles including administration managers, general office managers and office managers. Individuals in these roles may possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate their own work and/or the work of a team.

Students who graduated from the Diploma course were surveyed by the Department of Education and Training after they completed their training with nearly 85% happy with their training.

Bachelor of Business Administration

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is designed to give a broad knowledge of the functional aspects of a company and their interconnection, while also allowing for specialisation in a particular area.

The degree develops the student’s practical, managerial and communication skills, and business decision-making capability. Many programs incorporate training and practical experience, in the form of case projects, presentations, internships, industrial visits, and interaction with experts from industry.

The bachelor degree is offered through universities and make take up to three years.

Master of Business Administration

The Master of Business Administration is a master’s degree with a large focus on management. The course is provided by a range of universities and RTOs. The MBA degree originated in the United States in the early 20th century when the country industrialised and companies sought scientific approaches to management.

The core courses in an MBA program cover various areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, and operations in a manner most relevant to management analysis and strategy. Most programs also include elective courses.

Doctor of Business Administration

The Doctor of Business Administration (abbreviated DBA, D.B.A., DrBA, or Dr.B.A.) is a research doctorate awarded on the basis of advanced study and research in the field of business administration. The D.B.A. is a terminal degree and is equivalent to the Ph.D.
