New Learning Platform Underpins AIM MBA+ Overhaul

After years of intense study, your typical MBA graduate will see their business school’s gate close behind them as they venture back out into the business world to apply what they have learned.

AIM Business School, however, has recently changed this dynamic by introducing more value through their new ‘MBA+’, a program which lasts for five years so that MBA students receive complimentary professional development, support and learning opportunities well after graduating.

AIM CEO Ben Foote said the AIM MBA+ was one of the most flexible MBA in Australia as students can complete a unit either online or face to face in one of AIM’s numerous national campuses. It does not have formal exams but instead assesses students with ‘real world’ case studies and assignments, meaning students can apply their knowledge to their workplace as they learn in a live, collaborative environment.

“For five years, the MBA+ also gives students three significant areas of value that will play a major role in getting “incredible outcomes” from their MBA investment,” he said.

“Every student will receive their own unique MBA+ Gold Card which represents the overall quality and value behind our MBA program.”

The first value is that AIM MBA+ students can continue sharpening their skills with a number of professional development short courses available on-campus or online. With more than 70 available, the short courses are designed as 1-3 day programs not tied to the MBA curriculum to help students and graduates polish existing or acquire new soft skills, including design thinking, leading with emotional intelligence, and project management.

Each short course has been crafted to reflect the current business environment, so students walk out of every class with the most up-to-date theories and practices.

The second is unfettered access to AIM Coaches who remain in contact with students after graduation. This support system gives graduates a resource they can connect with in order to help navigate their professional growth.

Finally, students have unlimited five-year access to AIM’s business lounges, which are located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra. Students can visit any one of these lounges to work, network with business leaders and collaborate with other AIM professionals.

Despite the premium-level perk package MBA+ provides on top of the current AIM MBA program, the business school has not increased tuition fees. In fact, AIM Business School’s MBA program with MBA+ now costs $32,400 instead of the previous fee of $42,600. rfr
