The Australian Institute of Business (AIB) has welcomed two new Heads of Discipline to its Academic team.

Associate Professor Krishna Reddy, the new Head of Discipline for Finance, has relocated from New Zealand where he worked in the banking industry and held lecturing positions at Massey University and the University of Waikato. Krishna has also held several board of director positions.

Associate Professor Ros Cameron, the new Head of Discipline for Human Resource Management, moved from Western Australia where she worked as a Research Fellow at Curtin University.

She held lecturing positions at CQ University and Southern Cross University in Queensland, and has taught in several countries including China, Singapore, Hong Kong and Fiji.

Prior to joining academia, Professor Cameron worked as a senior HR Consultant in Australia, the Middle East and in the Fiji Islands. She is a Fellow of both AHRI and AITD.

They join three other Heads of Discipline who were appointed earlier in the year.

Professor Roxanne Zolin

Head of Discipline in Entrepreneurship, Ms Zolin completed her doctorate and Masters in Sociology at Stanford. She has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers and chapters, and has attracted research grants of more than $1.5 million. Formerly the National Marketing Manager of Myers Stores and Fisher Price Stores, Roxanne also has a property development business in Queensland.

Professor Devinder Grewal

As the Head of Discipline for Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Professor Grewal has experience across both industry and academia in Ireland, the UK, Sweden and Australia. He is the former Chair Professor at the World Maritime University – a specialist agency of the UN in Sweden – and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Australia Industry Standards.

Associate Professor John Wilkinson

Professor Wilkinson joined AIB from the University of South Australia, where he held positions of Program Director and Associate Head – School of Marketing. He is a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute and a member of the Global Sales Science Institute.

AIB Joint CEO Joel Abraham said the institute welcomed the five Heads of Discipline from across the globe who are all high-calibre leaders, with extensive academic and industry experience, qualifications and publications.

“Our focus at AIB is on working adults, which is why we have a highly practical approach to learning and deliver our MBA programme online,” he said.

“We believe this strong team of Academic leaders will further enhance our programmes and success of our students.”
