Pilot program for AGSM Hong Kong alumni

A professional development program for AGSM’s Hong Kong alumni is being introduced in 2013 at the Hong Kong campus of the Australian School of Business.

The program will allow AGSM alumni to continue to expand their knowledge and skills through real-world learning to develop management skills, encourage critical thinking, sharpen their decision-making ability and remain competitive and relevant in their career.

Professor Mark Stewart, Academic Director, AGSM MBA Programs said:

“The global business environment is dynamic and ever changing. Part of the role and purpose of the AGSM is to provide its alumni with lifelong learning opportunities thus ensuring that they can easily update their business knowledge and management thinking”.

“As an AGSM MBA alumnus myself, I truly understand the value of the program and how much business professionals value the ability to reconnect with fellow business executives and learn the latest business thinking”.

The pilot program is designed to provide Hong Kong based alumni the opportunity to get back into the classroom and participate in courses on the current AGSM MBA syllabus, which includes courses that may not have been previously available during student’s initial period of study.

Each course will involve 40 hours of face-to-face intensive classroom learning with distinguished academic faculty in Hong Kong.
