Prospective MBA students will have the opportunity to meet and hear from some of the world’s best business schools when the internationally-renowned The MBA Tour visits down under in August.
The MBA Tour will hit Sydney (August 8) and Melbourne (August 12) and includes the opportunity to meet face-to-face with business schools, presentations, a networking fair and admissions application advice.
The Australia Tour offers access to schools providing an estimated $18million in total annual MBA scholarship funding include The University of Tampa, Monash University, Columbia Business School and Asia School of Business.
The MBA Tour Managing Director Peter von Loesecke said the events were designed to encourage personal interaction between prospective MBA students, business school admissions representatives, alumni and other like-minded education enthusiasts.
“Undertaking an MBA is a big commitment and choosing the right MBA is critical to success,” he said. “To get the best understanding of each school, it is important to take the time to learn as much as you can and make an informed decision.”
“The business school representatives at The MBA Tour events are full-time staff members, enabling prospective students maximum interaction with the actual decision makers in the admissions process,” Mr von Loesecke said.
The MBA Tour hosts 60 MBA events per year in over 30 countries with the university business schools included in the tour rigorously chosen by an advisory board.
This years Sydney event will be held at Intercontinental Sydney (117 Macquarie Street) from 5pm – 9.30pm on Thursday, August 8, 2019. The Melbourne event will be held at Intercontinental Melbourne (495 Collins Street) from 5pm – 9.30pm on Monday, August 12, 2019.
The business schools selected for the showroom floor will have the opportunity to host talks, panels, and presentations in an educational conference format that will help attending students learn more about the people and business schools present.
“This helps students select a university to suit their specific career and lifestyle goals,” Mr von Loesecke said.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in The MBA Tour’s unique “MeetUps”.
“MeetUps are opportunities for prospective students to meet with admissions directors and discuss the programs in greater depth,” Mr von Loesecke said.
“These 20 minute conversations allow candidates to learn specific program information, ask their MBA questions, and begin a dialogue with the admissions representatives that will hopefully continue through their application.”
The MBA Tour provides full service support to the MBA recruitment efforts of their business school clients, including logistics, introduction to key contacts in local markets and matching Admissions Directors with MBA aspirants all over the world.
