Torrens University Launches New On Demand MBA

Torrens University Australia has expanded its suite of Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs with the launch of a new ‘on demand’ offering designed for professionals.

This new flexible, on-demand MBA has no set class times, content is available for students to engage with whenever they choose and assignments are done individually throughout the study period.

The new program can be completed in 1.5 years full-time or three years part-time and costs around $26,000. This course comprises six core subjects and six elective subjects. Each subject involves 10 to 15 hours of self-directed study per week.

Professor Greg Harper, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Business and Hospitality at Torrens University Australia said this innovative, self-paced offering is the first of its kind for Torrens University Australia.

“This new model of learning values the student as an individual consumer who is self-motivated, who wants to be challenged by the best brains in the business and wants to future proof their career while benefitting from true flexibility.

“Our >MBA (On Demand) has no set class times, content is available for students to engage with whenever they choose and assignments are done individually throughout the study period, which provides more autonomy for busy professionals,” said Professor Harper.

Professor Harper said the MBA (On Demand) was the perfect option for businesses who wanted to offer employees the chance to upskill while continuing to work.

“Employees can fit their learning around the demands of their job and immediately apply their new knowledge to the workplace.

The course is not just flexible…it is also value for money. At just approximately $26,000 you won’t get a better University MBA anywhere in the country,” said Professor Harper.

Admission requirements for the program are an Australian bachelor’s degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent in a business (or related) discipline from a recognised tertiary institution; or any Australian Bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent AND at least 2 years post degree professional work experience; or five (5) years of work experience (of which 3 years is managerial).
