Melbourne Business School and Macquarie University are the only two Australian business schools that have made it into CEO World Magazine’s 2023 World’s Best Business School Top 100 list.
CEO World Magazine surveyed over 350,000 business executives, graduates, global business influencers, industry professionals, business school academics, employers, and recruiters in 156 countries on seven major metrics, including academic reputation, job placement rate and global reputation and influence to rank the best business schools in the world.
Melbourne Business School took out the 39th spot, while Macquarie Business School ranked 88th.
Whilst not making it into the Top 100 list, several other Australian business schools have done considerably well, given that the overall list ranked a total of 500 global business schools:

The top three business schools in the world were Wharton School which took the prestigious title of the world’s best business school for 2023, London Business School, which earned a respectable second place and MIT Sloan School of Management, ranking third.
