UNSW Business School Awarded AACSB Accreditation

​The UNSW Business School, together with the School of Business at UNSW Canberra, has been awarded a further five-year AACSB accreditation for its excellence in business education.

This achievement is the result of an extensive self-review and an international peer evaluation against rigorous criteria and standards.

The AACSB standards are broadly built around three themes of engagement, innovation, and impact.

The Business School was commended for its research networks scheme; engagement with industry, including via the digital platform BusinessThink; support for staff; robust curriculum review processes; and commitment to the direction of the University.

UNSW Business School Dean Professor Chris Styles said the re-accreditation demonstrates the strength of programs at the School and provides an assurance of quality for our stakeholders.

“This accreditation is further evidence that we offer our students an outstanding career-focused learning experience,” said Professor Styles. “The business landscape is constantly evolving and we’re evolving and improving with it. It’s encouraging to receive continued endorsement from our peers.”

16 Australian universities have earned AACSB accreditation, joining 845 business institutions around the world.

The UNSW Business School holds two of the world’s leading business school accreditations: the AACSBfrom AACSB International and EQUIS accreditation from the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).
