New app introduces international students to UNSW

140128 unsw ipad appA new iPad app will allow prospective international MBA students to see just what the Australian School of Business at UNSW offers – and what their experience of studying and living in Sydney would be.

The app displays a blend of information from current and past students sand has been designed to provide a visual experience of what an MBA at ASB could be.

It is also a hub to provide prospects with facts and information on the benefits on why they should study a postgraduate degree at the Australian School of Business.

The purpose of the app is to support and complement the existing website, and not to duplicate the information or replace the web.

ASB Director of Marketing, Admissions and Recruitment Sarah Lightfoot said the School identified a gap early in 2013 in the provision of accurate and timely information about programs to international students, parents, recruitment agents and their influencers.

“Though our website contains a wealth of information, we were unable to provide the experience of living and studying in Sydney, which was a common question that was encountered whenever we attend international recruitment events overseas, and it was not an easy task for agents to address,” she said.

The app is available to download free of charge at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/study-unsw-business/id763220771?mt=8
