The AGSM MBAX is a unique part-time fully flexible MBA that can be done entirely online, or you have the option to personalise your study experience by opting to attend face-to-face courses, or you can choose to study in a combination of these delivery modes.

AGSM’s MBAX program is ranked 1st in Australia and is globally ranked in the top 10 global online MBA programs according to the QS 2022 Online MBA Rankings and The Financial Times (UK) 2022 Online MBA Rankings.

AGSM’s MBAX offers students the option between eight different specialisations including; Change, Finance, General, Law, Policy leadership, Social Impact, Sustainable and Inclusive Business & Technology.

AGSM ranks well above the global average Employability, where our score of 81.8 was 34.2 points ahead of the global average, based on over 38,000 employers who were interviewed as part of these rankings’ surveys. AGSM was ranked second in the world for its ESG ranking among the top Online MBAs. It also ranked joint first place for Women on Board (50 per cent), second place for Female Students (40 per cent) and ranked third in the world for Women Faculty (41 per cent).

AGSM @ UNSW Business School (MBAX) Course Structure

The AGSM MBAx is a part-time program and can be completed in anywhere between 2 to 6 years. Courses are designed to meet an immediate need so you can align your study with current professional projects and personal interests.

This generalist degree will give you the opportunity to complement core topics of the AGSM MBA while offering you the ability chose electives across our other specialisations: Technology, Change, Finance, Social Impact or Law. This ensures a flexible and tailored learning experience that is designed for you to add immediate value to your organisation or enterprise.

Accreditation

UNSW Business School has been awarded EQUIS accreditation by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).

Entry Requirements

There are two pathways into the MBAX and AGSM Graduate Certificate Programs:

  • A strong undergraduate degree (or equivalent qualification) and a minimum of 2 years professional or managerial work experience
  • Or at least 6 years professional work experience if you don’t have an undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification.

Please note that 2 years post-graduate experience is an absolute minimum requirement for entry. Most of our MBAX and Graduate Certificate students have on average around 11 years work experience. You will need to demonstrate an outstanding work and study progression to gain admittance into the program with less than 3-4 years post graduate work experience.
