Deakin MBA Course Structure
To complete the Master of Business Administration, students must attain a total of 12 credit points, consisting of 8 credit points of core units and 4 credit points of elective units and may include a specialisation. Students must also complete three 0 credit point units.
Most units (think of units as ‘subjects’) are equal to 1 credit point.
Electives may be selected from an MBA specialisation or from any postgraduate units offered by the University, subject to eligibility.

Deakin University offers admission to postgraduate courses through a number of Admission categories. In all categories of admission, selection is based primarily on academic merit as indicated by an applicant’s previous academic record. All applicants must meet the minimum English language requirements.
Minimum admission criteria:
Bachelor degree in any discipline and three years relevant work experience*, or
Graduate Certificate in a related discipline and five years relevant work experience*, or
Graduate Diploma equivalent (professional pathways)
*Must be in a managerial or professional role. Applicants must demonstrate decision making responsibility in a range of areas such as budgeting, staffing, project management, financial management, or other relevant professional experience.

-a one-page brief outlining why you believe that your work experience would be valued by your MBA peers.
